The single will be officially launched on Sunday September 6th with a live, full band show at The Wolfhound, Fitzroy VIC, with special guest Mel Taylor. The launch will feature new work as well as several songs from his recent EP Mirror Flame. See below for tickets!
“Somewhere, Somebody” was recorded at Rolling Stock Recording Rooms in Collingwood, VIC with engineer and producer Myles Mumford. The first taste of a debut album in the works, the new single features the indie-folk & alt-country stylings of Rory’s previous work with an added twist of baroque pop and intricate songwriting reminiscent of artists like Elliott Smith, The Beatles and Jeff Buckley.
